How do I turn off the sound in Internet Explorer?
You can change the default sound heard when opening new pages in Internet Explorer. This includes the sound that is heard when you refresh pages or frames within Internet Explorer, which can be quite disturbing when you are in OpenCRM and the refresh sound is heard every time a new page is loaded.
- Start Regedit
- Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ AppEvents \ Schemes \ Apps\ Explorer \ Navigating\ .current
- Change the default value to the wav file you want to use.
- Leaving it blank will turn off the sound.
- This also changes the default sound when navigating to folders in MyComputer Explorer.
