My Little Voice

Welcome to My Little Voice

Welcome to our blog. Its great to have you here.

We wanted a place where we could explain the type of work we do, our goals and passions, the business journey and any successes we have along the way. We also wanted somewhere to hold all that trivia that has a connection to what we do here at OpenCRM (sometimes we admit these links are very tenuous). Please take a look and feel free to contact us if you have any comments, ideas or feedback we would love to hear from you - just click here.

Hip Hip Hurray - V4 kicks off today!

Today is a very special day over here at OpenCRM HQ - its the official launch of our V4 project.

This is a new design for OpenCRM with many of the WEB 2.0 CRM guidelines being reflected within this new design.

The CRM End Game

Just like lots of important decisions the best place to start with your CRM solution is at the end!

My answer; well.... Why not use our Events module?

From this (and a quick check with Mr Google) I quickly realised that non of the mainstream contenders in the hosted CRM marketplace have this event capability.

In OpenCRM our Event module is not a

Don't be Forced....

There was a great campaign being run by Microsoft Dynamics Online a little while ago that speaks to a subject that is close to our hearts.

Dont allow yourself to end up being tied into a solution that relies on a 3rd party leveraging, granted, a great development and delivery framework that relies on the high cost partner to maintain. Force.com has got to be one of the best development concepts in modern computing. I am not refering to the technical underbelly which makes or breaks software delivery platforms such as these, I am talking about the 'hard sell' and the power of the support
