Apple Construction Training (ACT) Ltd offer a whole host of both off-the-shelf and bespoke Health & Safety courses. From basic training to a range of nationally recognised and fully accredited qualifications, including NPORS, CPCS, and City & Guild. They also have a CSCS touchscreen test centre and can provide accredited NVQ assessments.

As a company, Apple Construction Training Ltd work closely with their clients making sure both the client and candidate(s) are happy with both the end result and the timescale to achieve it. They go above and beyond really, offering early morning starts, late finishes, or even weekend work where needed. The team will organise collection and drop off services to/from local train and bus stations for the candidates. Instead of exploring event management tools with limited contact management functionality, they decided to look for a system that could do all it all.
Their Open CRM Solution
With Open CRM, Apple Construction Training are able to manage their whole process in a single system.
New leads come into Open CRM from the forms on their website, using our JotForm integration. The team manage the communication with these new leads and their existing clients, using a combination of email templates and general activity management.
Courses are managed using the inbuilt Events module in Open CRM. The team can set attendance fees, start and end dates, course duration, whether food and drink is required, manage prospective and confirmed attendees, and so on.
Workflow and other automation tools keep the Apple Construction Training team free from managing various bits of admin work. For example, course attendees are automatically sent reminders for re-certification after 10 months. This automation saves the team precious time and ensures none of their customers are forgotten (or sent their reminders too late).
And then finally, invoices for course attendance are created in Open CRM and sent to Xero where the accounts team can work their magic.
