Hello from everyone here at OpenCRM, July was an exciting time for us all and we have some great news for you, so, without further ado here is OpenCRM’s latest Company News…Beep, Beep Beep, Beeeeeeeeeep!

Recently our Technical Director Phil Marsay and his lovely girlfriend Kirsty (he is punching above his weight by the way) went to a romantic Greek Island for their Summer Holidays, beautiful beaches, views and the locals were fantastic. Phil, not one to miss an opportunity, got down on one knee and popped the question….and she said YES!
Congratulations to Phil and Kirsty on your impending nuptial’s from all of us here at OpenCRM – note to all, if you do go down on one knee please remember to ask her dad first!
Speaking of holidays, our Senior Developer (not old) Stephen Shutt…

…has committed to undertaking the perilous Inca Trail next year and his training has begun with daily walks around our OpenCRM HQ. He wants to make sure he is in tip top shape for when he reaches the spectacular Machu Picchu.
Enjoy Stephen, it will be an experience of a lifetime…P.S. can you bring me back a stick of rock.. Phil forgot!

And finally, OpenCRM welcomes Dan Kaye into our ranks as a Support Technician. As a keen Pokemon Go’er, imagine his surprise when he found out Steven was going to get Machu Picchu, unfortunately we believe Dan may have got confused with this guy.

Before I got my start in the tech industry as part of Apple’s UK Mac launch team, I was a professional drummer (notice I didn’t say musician). But once I got in, I was hooked and I’ve been involved in the tech industry, primarily software development, for over 35 years. I founded this company and I now have the enviable title of System Architect (as well as Managing Director) here at OpenCRM.
