D & S – OpenCRM celebrates ten years in business
6 Nov 2015A NORTH Yorkshire-based software company is celebrating ten years in business during which time it has won customers around the world.
OpenCRM is a cloud-based customer relationship management system company based on Colburn Business Park, Catterick.
Graham Anderson launched the company in 2005 with only four members of staff – today it employs more than 20 across a number of departments, including product development, sales, design, and customer support.
Mr Anderson invited Rishi Sunak, MP for Richmond, to visit the offices to see what they do.
Mr Sunak said: “It is great to see a company like OpenCRM doing well in my constituency. Having worked with companies in Silicon Valley in California, I am well aware of the importance of businesses like these in the modern economy.
“The fact that the founders started and decided to grow their enterprise here is testament to the attractiveness of North Yorkshire to the tech sector.”
Mr Anderson said: “Technology is such an important industry in the UK and we were keen to highlight to Rishi the contribution we make up here in Yorkshire.
“Everyone thinks London is the technology hub and where you need to do business – but our team are some of the best around and we are able to run a successful company here in North Yorkshire.”
