About 30 members of staff from OpenCRM, along with Arch Recovery College in Durham, set off on Saturday, June 13, to scale the three Yorkshire fells in aid of national youth suicide prevention charity, Papyrus, in 12 hours.
Graham Anderson, chief executive of OpenCRM, said: “This day has been months in the planning and I am so proud of the effort the team has put in to training for this event.
“All their hard work has paid off and not only is it a great personal success, they have also raised a fantastic amount of money for a very worthwhile cause.
“There were a few sore legs in the office on Monday but a real sense of pride at what they had accomplished.
“The team would like to thank the family and friends who came out to support on the day.”
Moira Dickinson, fundraising manager at Papyrus, said: “This is an amazing effort by the OpenCRM staff – helping us to raise awareness that suicide can be prevented and extend our work with young people in schools and the community, encouraging them to talk about mental wellbeing and above all to seek help when they feel they are not coping.”
