Happy Burns’ Night
12 Jan 2017Everyone remembers to wish people a Happy New Year or Merry Christmas when the season approaches, but what about the other, more regional or country specific holidays? Let’s say, for example, that I would like to wish a Very Happy Burns Night to all of my Scottish clients….how can I do this in the most efficient way?
In the words of Mel Gibson in Braveheart..’ FILTERING !!’
The ability to filter the information or data that you have stored within OpenCRM makes you more efficient.
For example… If I would like to if I would like to email all my Scottish friends I would simply create a view that only displays’ Billing Country Equals Scotland’, this would then display all my clients that are in Scotland. I can then Multi Select them all and send them a ‘Happy Burns’ Night’ email.
This is the same process if I want to wish my clients a ‘Happy St David’s, Happy St George’s, or Happy St Patrick’s Day’ in the case of my British customers. This January, I could also use this to wish a Happy New Year to my contacts in China and a Super Bowl Special Offer to my American contacts.
The ability to filter the data that you have stored is imperative to being able to work and communicate efficiently.
Specifically targeting a certain audience or market place means you are supplying correct information to the correct people at the correct time leading to better results and who doesn’t want that?
Happy Burns Night to all our Scottish friends…. Enjoy your neeps and tatties wherever you are!!
