Webhooks can be used to push information between disparate systems automatically by triggering the sending of data over HTTP when certain actions happen within your application. Many hosted applications will support sending data to third party applications via webhooks and here we explain some of the ways in which OpenCRM can listen for/receive information from those webhooks. Authentication Webhooks are verified by an authentication token which needs to be set up on your OpenCRM system. You must provide this token with every webhook request. Contact OpenCRM support to have your authentication token added. OpenCRM Notifications It is possible to add a notification to the OpenCRM notification centre via a webhook. This could allow your OpenCRM users to be alerted to something which has happened in another system. Please contact support for more information on how to achieve this. Live Chat It is possible to Log activities for customers' actions in your Live Chat Client (Gist or Dashly) - see our specific integration guides for more information. API Links It is possible to pass information into OpenCRM via a third party webhook using API URLs. This requires your API to be enabled and API keys generated for authentication. See API documentation for further examples and details: https://apidocs.opencrm.co.uk/ You may also be interested in: |
