There are a number of ways that you can integrate a contact form on your website with your OpenCRM system.

Jotform Integration

The method we recommend for getting data into your OpenCRM system from a web form is to use our Jotform integration. This is the easiest and most customisable option.

You do not need any development or coding skills to use Jotform, but you will need to sign up for a Jotform account. Please see this guide on how to use Jotforms.

Standard OpenCRM Web Form Package

We can provide you with a standard web form package and some sample company, contact and lead forms to host on your own website which will work out of the box and can be customised to suit your needs. Some web development skills/knowledge is recommended if using this forms package. This is recommended if your requirements are quite simple, you have a small amount of development knowledge and you do not wish to sign up for a Jotform account.

Please contact us to receive the web form package and see this guide on how to install/customise.

Custom OpenCRM Web Form Package

Using the standard web form package as a base, you can develop your own forms and use the scripts provide in the standard package to send the data from those forms to OpenCRM. This is recommended if your requirements are a little more complex or custom and you have a good level of development knowledge.

Please contact us to receive the web form package and see this guide on how to install/customise.

Adapt Your Existing Forms

Using the standard web form package as a base, you can adapt your existing web forms to send the form submission data from your existing forms to OpenCRM as well as - or instead of - your current form processing scripts. This is recommended if you already have web forms set up that you do not want to recreate and have a good level of development knowledge

Please contact us to receive the web form package and see this guide on how to install/customise.

OpenCRM REST API

The OpenCRM REST API can be used to process your contact forms. This is recommended if you have a particularly complex need (and/or need to create records other than just company, contact or lead) and have a high level of web development knowledge.

Please contact us for further details and see this guide on the OpenCRM REST API.

Email Processing

If you have an existing web form which when submitted generates an email in a standard format, it may be possible to parse that email to extract the information and create OpenCRM records from that data. This requires professional service (development) time but would mean you could continue to use your existing forms with no alterations required. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Custom Form Development/Hosting

If your requirements are complex and/or you do not have the required hosting infrastruction or development skills, OpenCRM can build and/or host your contact forms for you. Please contact us to discuss you requirements.
