We take a backup of your system every evening. These nightly backup snapshots are kept for 7 days.

Every Week

A snapshot is also taken at the start of each week; this is stored in a separate facility from the rest of our infrastructure for 26 weeks.

Every Month

Monthly backups, taken at the start of every month, are also kept for 6 months.

All of our backup facilities (as well as the rest of our infrastructure) are located within the UK.

These files are held in Amazon S3, which has “eleven nines [99.999999999%] durability”--basically meaning that by storing and constantly maintaining multiple, encrypted copies of your uploads, you can rest easy knowing that your files are in safe hands.
