In today’s Tuesday Tip, Tom takes shows you around our new Timeline and Heartbeat features. And gives you some great tips and tricks!
These features were developed (and will continue to be expanded on) as a way to give users a quick overview of the history of the record they are viewing.
For a Contact, this may be the most recent Activities and Emails. On a Company, you might prefer to see Invoices and HelpDesk Tickets. With a Project, you might want to see Activities and an Audit of the changes on that record.
No matter what you want to see, you as an individual can decide what is visible by default for each module. And whether you see the Timeline and Heartbeat on screen all the time or have it hidden until you need it.
We wanted this feature to give our users the ability to customise the overview they need for a particular kind of record. If you have any ideas about how we could improve this feature, we’d love to hear from you.
