Just as you can automate the creation of Activities via Action Plans, you can take away the need to create certain emails by using Email Plans.
Throughout the system there will be scenarios where you would benefit from configuring emails to send automatically from OpenCRM. There are some scenarios where you would use the in-built functionality. A typical example is using the ability to automate comments to be sent as emails from Helpdesk Tickets.
If you think about it, there are countless examples of when an automated email would be useful. When a Lead signs up to receive more information via a form on your website, you could automate that first email that goes out to them. If an invoice becomes overdue, wouldn’t it be great if an email is triggered, rather than you having to remember to go and do it?
These are just a couple of examples of where an Email Plan becomes a real time-saver and prevents vital pieces of communication from being forgotten.
