Through its IMSeco division, IMS also specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of emissions systems, offering a “turn-key” solution throughout the UK and beyond. Products include exhaust silencers, generator enclosures, air inlet and extract attenuators, weather louvres, and emissions abatement technologies such as Diesel Oxidation Catalysts, Diesel Particulate Filters and Selective Catalytic Reduction Technology (SCR) for reductions in all legislated emissions including NOx.

Every project starts as a custom scope — gathering information from clients, advising on the correct product or service, and designing a bespoke system to match. With work spanning both silencer manufacture and emissions systems, IMS needed one system to track projects end to end, from lead through design sign-off, production and into stock, without losing visibility along the way.
One system, from lead to production
OpenCRM tracks leads through the sales pipeline with an end-to-end approach — a single system for tracking follow ups. When a project is scoped, the team gathers information from clients and advises on the correct product or service, managing the whole scoping phase within OpenCRM.
Bespoke system designs are stored in OpenCRM, giving a single source of truth, with design phase sign-off and acceptance managed using activities for reminders and approval.
Once a job starts, it’s tracked in OpenCRM, with technical changes updated for ease of collaboration and visibility now and in the future. Raw stock management tracks metals of different sizes, producing accurate stock figures for balance sheet reporting, while marketing activity to existing customers supports new product announcements and company updates.
